Hello
Today we revised the prepositions of location and map reading. To ask for directions we say:
Where is the bank, please?
How do I get to the library?
How can I get to the library?
To go to the school from my house - go along Peru Street, go straight on past the bank, then turn right and the school is in front of you etc.
We did a grammar exercise and got some points for our Olympic Games:
Player 1 - 13 points
Player 2 - 13 points
Player 3 - 12 points
Player 4 - 15 point
Player 5 - 10 points
Player 6 - 17 points
Player 7 - 13 points
Today we learnt some new prepositions of place (under, behind, over, near etc.) and movement(along, up, down, across etc.):
The school is near the bank. (place)
Go down the street. (movement)
Project: Also we finished making our poster to recollect second-hand things. We printed them out - now your task is to put the posters everywhere (at school, in the streets, neighbourhood etc.). Also some of you promised to bring some boxes where we´re going to put all the recollected things.
Your homework is - write 8 sentences using the prepositions (4 prepositions of place and 4 prepositions of movement).
Extra task: listen to the audio and do two exercises in your notebook (2 points for each).
